How It Works

From Discord to your first paid video — the full path.

Every step is built for editors who'd rather demonstrate work than write a check. No gatekeeping, no upsell.

  1. STEP 01

    Login with Discord

Pulse Rewrite Studio is Discord-gated. Your Discord account is your identity on the platform — no separate username or password to remember.

  2. STEP 02

    Join Pulse

Join the main Pulse server. This is the home base for the Pulse Rewrite Studio community and the staging ground for new editor onboarding.

  3. STEP 03

    Join Pulse PH

If you're a Filipino editor, joining Pulse PH gives you direct access to the local talent pool and PH-specific opportunities.

  4. STEP 04

    Submit Application

Fill out the editor application. We ask about your editing experience, niche, available hours, and rate expectations — short and focused.

  5. STEP 05

    Send Portfolio

Attach 3-5 of your best editing samples. Real work in your actual editing style. Polished spec pieces are fine; relevance matters more than volume.

  6. STEP 06

    Get Reviewed

A Pulse Rewrite Studio reviewer evaluates your portfolio against current channel needs. You'll hear back with an approval, a hold, or specific feedback.

  7. STEP 07

    Get Assigned

Approved editors are matched to a monetized channel that fits their level and style. You'll know exactly which channel and what's expected.

  8. STEP 08

    Submit Videos

Work through assignments inside the channel's brief. Submit drafts through Pulse Rewrite Studio — version control, feedback, and revisions stay in one place.

  9. STEP 09

    Get Approved & Posted

Once a submission passes review, it's posted to the channel. Approval triggers your earnings on that piece.

  10. STEP 10

    Track Earnings

Your dashboard shows every submission, its status, the revenue split on its channel, and your payout total — all in real time.
